To date, Eiichiro Oda has used 3,463 different pen nibs to illustrate One Piece. A new promotional video celebrating the 25th anniversary of One Piece trailed the whole journey of the manga series with the pen nibs put together. In a grand display of what the Straw Hat Crew has been through their arduous journey, the nibs retraced all the significant incidents in the manga series over the course of its 25-year serialization.

The video was published on Friday on One Piece's official YouTube channel.

In recognition of the anniversary of the manga's release, the Japan Anniversary Association has designated July 22 as "One Piece Day". (although the manga actually launched on July 19, 1997, it was advertised as launching on July 22).
