Toyo Keizaia Japanese Business Publication Magazine, reported that the official Sales of the Demon Slayer Franchise are over 900 Billion Yen, which is around US$7.9 Billion. According to Toyo KeizaiDemon Slayer Mugen Train sold over 28,966,806 tickets for a total of 40,016,942,050 Yen, about US$367.6 Million, just in Japan. Worldwide, Demon Slayer: Mugen Slayer sold a total of 41.35 Million Tickets in over 45 countries and territories, where the movie made 51.7 Billion Yen, about US$475 Million. Making it the first non-Hollywood or non-American film to top the Box Office worldwide since the turn of the century.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train made a huge chunk of the total revenue of the Demon Slayer franchise. But the manga sales of Demon Slayer followed it closely with 10 Billion Yen in 2019, about US$87 Million. And then again, 44 Billion Yen, about US$385 Million in 2020 alone.

Light Novel sales for Demon Slayer crosses 2.8 Billion Yen, about US$25 Million overall. And LiSA’s song “Gurenge” for the Demon Slayer Anime made 300 Million Yen, about US$2.6 Million in 2019, and even more, 500 Million Yen, about US$4.4 Million in 2020.

Demon Slayer Tv Anime aired on over 21 Television stations in Japan and was also streamed on 14 streaming servicesAniplex of America licensed the series and streamed it on HuluCrunchyrollFunimation, and more.

Netflix also picked up Demon Slayer in 2021, and it quickly became one of the most-watched anime on the entire platform. And the Demon Slayer Franchise made a huge chunk of its profits from licensing deals to these streaming platforms.
