Isekai Ojisan Production Committee has announced that the anime "Isekai Ojisan" will be temporarily suspended from episode 8. The anime will start to rebroadcast its previous episodes starting September 7.

Atelier Pontdarc, who is in charge of the production of Isekai Ojisan, and other related parties have been infected with a new variant of Coronavirus.

Previously, many major anime studios had to suspend their production and delay entire series because of Covid-19 outbreaks throughout 2020 and 2021.

So the broadcast after episode 8, scheduled for September 7, will be temporarily suspended. The September broadcast will be a rebroadcast of episodes 3 to 6 and will be following the following schedule.

Episode 5: September 21

Episode 6: September 28
