The first 100 Volumes of One Piece have Sold over 1 Million Copies Each
On Friday, September 10, 2021, Oricon released the new sales charts for the new 100th volume of One Piece. The was volume was published on September 3, 2021, and has sold over 1.173 Million Print Copies according to the August 30 And September 5 sales metrics. Now One Piece has been on the top of Sales charts for a couple of years now, with the manga ranking at the #1 spot for 50 consecutive weeks since Oricon started publishing their charts in 2008.
But with the 100th volume of One Piece crossing 1 million sales, One Piece has finally reached Million+ sales in all 100 volumes of the manga. This is a historic moment for Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. The manga having the most sold million-selling volumes in print since 2008. One Piece is above Attack on Titan, coming in second place with 34 Volumes and even Naruto, which takes the third spot with 31 volumes. Aside from this achievement, One Piece has also won the 41st Japan Cartoonist Awards in 2012 and also set a Guinness World record for "the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author." Making this achievement even more impressive, to say the least.
